Giveaway & Review: InfinityMOM Nursing Scarves

Pregnancy and motherhood are wonderful things. The price tags on some of the accessories for those things are not so wonderful. It's frustrating for me to spend a lot of money on something I will only use during a single trimester or the first couple of months with the baby. I'm all about cribs that change into toddler beds, a cute dress than can be a shirt as the baby grows, or board books they can read for the first few years. And for that reason, I have to share this with you.

InfinityMOM jersey scarves are the coolest, you guys. I first heard of them when Sue, a fellow blogger, ordered hers, and I immediately wanted one of my own. Most of the giveaways we bloggers do are from companies getting in touch with us- but this concept is so awesome to me, I actually reached out to the makers and asked if they'd be willing to partner with me in doing a giveaway for you. I can't tell you how excited I was when they said yes!

Most nursing covers I've seen look like strange painting smocks or come in weird, gigantic floral patterns that no one should have to wear in public. When I brought my out to snap a few pictures, Sky asked me why I had a scarf, and not a nursing cover. That's a win in my book. During pregnancy and after the baby is older, these scarves are just that- a really soft and cozy infinity scarf. But during those first few months of nursing, they are unlooped and draped across one shoulder to be a nursing cover. I love that I can buy something I already want- a cute, new scarf- and justify that it's for the baby, and that it will be used for more than one month. It's so comfortable that I've even worn with my pajamas it around the house sometimes!

InfinityMOM didn't compensate me for writing any of this; they didn't know who I was until they received my fanmail. I just think they're pretty amazing, and I know the dozens of my blog friends with babies or babies-on-the-way will think so, too. I bought the cream colored scarf you see me wearing, but they have lots of cute solid colors and patterns.
