hence the name of this blog.
I'm a mama to two, a soldier's wife, a on and off college student, and I love to write in between it all.
I'm an INFJ, which means I talk a lot more in this space
than I do in 'real life'.
than I do in 'real life'.
Meet my husband, Sky.
We were married in January 2010.
He is a veteran of Army National Guard who served in Afghanistan,
and he is now enlisted in the Army Reserves.
and he is now enlisted in the Army Reserves.
She's the most beautiful girl in the world.
She is four years old, already brilliant,
and full of personality and songs.
And finally, there is a new darling born last June-
my son, Walter.
I think he just might be the world's happiest one year old. He takes my breath away already, and we're so blessed to have him in our lives.
This is our little family.

“I want to write something
so simply
about love
or about pain
that even
as you are reading
you feel it
and as you read
you keep feeling it
and though it be my story
it will be common,
though it be singular
it will be known to you
so that by the end
you will think—
no, you will realize—
that it was all the while
yourself arranging the words,
that it was all the time
words that you yourself,
out of your heart
had been saying.”
