I really adore the woman bringing you today's giveaway. Kim isn't a business owner (although she probably keeps every Starbucks in Canada open singlehandedly); she's a blogger who writes some of the bravest, most meaningful posts I've read. She can be wickedly funny and she's very smart. I'm not sure how she even has time to write, but she does it well. She's cheered me up many times when I needed it, and is one of my favorite 'blog people'.
"Hi! My name is Kim and I write at
www.sheisfierce.net.
I have a amazing while often absent hubby who is an Armoured Reconnaissance soldier in the Canadian army. I attempt to parent 3 children in such a way as they are still on speaking terms with me when they move out. I have a small Starbucks addiction and let’s face it, you can’t help someone that won’t help themselves, so just pass me a Chai latte.

I have a box of
Canada! Maple flavoured goodness and
candies that are just better here (did you know our Smarties are
CHOCOLATE? True story). Put together just for you because I think a
little Canada is good for everyone!
- 1 toque (may not be as shown, I will pick one to go with size/gender of winner. Also I realize Americans have these, but you call them something silly like hats so not the same).
- 1 mini bottle of real 100% pure Canadian Maple Syrup. Made local! Also, Maple Syrup candies!
- Smarties! Like, real Canadian ones that are chocolate.
- Canadian Army recruiting bracelet, in case you are looking for a job here....
- Canadian stickers
- A poppy and printout of what it means."
So follow Kim's awesome blog, and good luck in the giveaway! And please, if you win, report back about those Smarties.
P.S. One of the giveaway entries is to participate in Kim's own giveaway for something she created called The Thank You Project. (Please go read about it and what prompted her to start it!) Her rules are simple:
"1. Do something to say thank you to someone who serves you. Do it. Sooner than later.
2. Take a picture and/or write about your experience and your appreciation.
3.Email it to me at reccewife(at)gmail(dot)com, post it on my facebook page or tweet me about it."
Kim will be compiling these good deeds, sharing them on Facebook, Twitter, etc., and at the end of the giveaway, one do-gooder will receive a Starbucks giftcard from Kim. So there is no losing in that scenario- do something kind for someone, feel great about it, and get an entry for her Starbucks card and for this giveaway today! Easy!
This giveaway is open to everyone in North
America.
