My aspirations have run out of steam as of late, but one I still have is to give my daughter a beautiful Christmas.
She'll only be five months old on Christmas- hardly the age to remember a present she opened or a cookie she decorated. But she'll remember through my photos.
So I'll dress her in a beautiful dress. I will show her the ornaments on a tree. We might go out driving to look at the houses all lit up with colored bulbs. And I'll do the unseen things, like keep singing her carols and tell her fifty times that day that I love her with all my heart.
It's my hope she can flip through a photo album someday and say, "Yes. I was happy then."
