Prompt: Ordinary joy.
Our most profound joy is often experienced during ordinary moments.
What was one of your most joyful ordinary moments this year?Author: Brené Brown
I'm sure I've had plenty such moments this past year, but I've also been pretty depressed during the second half of it. It's really overshadowing those times I would have otherwise reveled in.
But a tiny moment of joy in the past?
Fireflies.
I was so glad to see them, because I knew I'd be able to share them with my boyfriend (now husband) and brother when they got home.
Read about it here.
Now, I always smile a bit when I see those little lights in the summertime.
And here's hoping your Christmas was beautiful!

Ah, fireflies. I loved them when I was a kid but hated seeing one squashed on the cement.
There wasn't many this past summer. :(
Our Christmas was pretty good, and opening gifts with the siblings and everything was funny and really sweet!
I love fireflies. There is something magical about them.
