The Big Read List

When I saw that Alana had taken The BBC's Big Read Top 100 Books and listed what she's read, I knew I had to steal her idea. She's sweet, though, so she gave me permission.

There are several books that I should have read by now, and there are also several that I hadn't even heard of before. It was interesting to see what I could cross off the list. Yay! Another brave person! I'm glad I'm not the only person who hasn't read Gone with the Wind. But I have to ask, are you not a Harry Potter fan or have you just not gotten around to reading them yet?

I am ashamed to say that I haven't read hardly any of these books! I have seen alot of the movies based on the books, but I haven't actually sat down to read them. I'm a Christian romance fiction kinda-girl and most of the books I read are of that genre. I also enjoy historical fiction, so maybe I would enjoy some of these? Hmm...thanks for sharing!

BTW I love what you did with the fall comments. Made me all fuzzy inside just reading them :) Let's go fall!

I may have to snag this list from you! We have a few of these books, I just haven't read them yet and I think this would be a good goal for next year :D

Oh dear - I've only read 12! (Although #3 is three individual books ;).
At the moment I'm enjoying reading autobiographies, so my number won't increase for a while!
