Sky's Post

{I asked Sky to write a post for our anniversary today. 

He procrastinated as long as he possibly could, but nonetheless, here it is.

Happy 2 years to us.}

When Erika asked me to guest-post on her blog I did not hesitate to say "yes". The hesitation came later. I realized that what I write for her will be read by all of you. Every night, it seems, I hear stories and see pictures of amazing people with poetic life stories and the type of generosity that is only seen in the movies. I hope I can live up to what has come to be expected from Chambanachik's blog.

I've typed and deleted the little black text on this page more that I thought would be necessary. I've started to type how we met, the struggle that we went through before we were even married a year, and how I could not believe that Erika is still willing to be my wife. I've decided that I will just make a list of thing I love about her.

Why I love Erika:

• after reading a list of stuff she wanted for her future I wanted to complete all of them for her before we met in person
• she has an amazing sense of humor
• the only movies she has ever watched were made by people who are no longer alive
• we like the same music. It's hard to find someone who likes Paul Simon
• she is an amazing mother
• she actually thinks she'll win when she wrestles with me
• whenever she smiles it's like a light turning on in a dark room

Erika, I just want you to know that I will always love you and always fight for our marriage. You most certainly are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I never want to lose what we have.
