*Tonight- Lori from Witty Little Secret on NBC, Speaking about Kari Bales*

Just a quick FYI-

Lori of Witty Little Secret just blogged a post called "An Open Letter to Kari Bales, Wife of Soldier Accused of 16 Afghan Deaths". The post went viral, even reaching Mrs. Bales, and comments are still being added to the post in support of her family. I think Lori thought was so many of us military wives thought, too- how will this affect her? While most of the coverage is on her husband, the Afghan families, and politics, Lori reminded the world that there is another family to think of- Mrs. Bales and those children. I was lucky enough to have Lori as my guest blogger a few months ago, and think she's a fabulous writer, but I was especially glad to see her post something like this.

You can see a shorter news clip on this page, and the CNN interview here, but tonight, Lori will be speaking about the situation on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. Make sure you turn in. I will definitely be watching.

I loved her post about this. As soon as I heard that the Soldier was married with little kids, my heart went out to them. I can't even imagine the pain they are going through right now, and will continue to go through. I'm so glad that Lori wrote this and hopefully people will continue to support Mrs. Bales and her children. Thanks for sharing about the news broadcast tonight!

Her post made me tear up, I could not imagine what Mrs. Bales and her family are going through. I hope people will continue to support the family in such a difficult time.

I saw the post earlier this week, and I thought it was very well-written and expressed what a lot of women might have wanted to say. Thanks for sharing this!

I will have to go read her post,
I have to say, I have felt concerned for his wife and family, and when the media pinged on their house, I got upset!

It is so true that as a military wife when I heard of this situation and the fact that he has a family, all I could think about was what happens to them and I can't imagine what they are going through. :/ I loved this post and I definitely teared up.
