I've been meaning to do a little show-and-tell of our family photos for a while now. Last week's announcement reminded me that while I'm excited for our family of four, I really love our family of three, too.
I won't share them all, because the family friend who graciously took them for us took dozens, but here are some- both casual and more dressy photos. We took the pictures at one of the prettiest places in town- a huge garden on the University of Illinois campus. It was a gorgeous fall day for them, even if we were a little chilly.
Sidenote: Millie's shirts and shoes, and all my clothing but my shoes, were thrifted. That sequined cardigan that cost over $100 brand new? I paid $6. The $50 American Eagle jeans? Also $6. The white shirt was $2.99, and the tan, lacy shirt was $2.50. Millie's blue shirt was 50 cents, and her sweater was only a few dollars. I'm pretty pleased with myself!
