Necessity

"Luxury is not a necessity to me, but beautiful and good things are."
— Anaïs Nin

I wrote a blog post for tomorrow and scheduled it. It was too serious. Then I wrote another and scheduled that one. It was too sentimental (don't worry- you'll still have to read them both soon, I bet). And then I thought about what is really on my heart tonight.

I need hair rollers.

Need.

I need big hair as an every day occurrence, and I'm afraid I won't be satisfied until that happens.

I need to learn how to use mine. My hand-eye coordination is tragic. I used them a few weeks ago, and I was a sorry sight. Hairspray covered up the errors moderately, but not enough. lol

The last time I used hair rollers, I was in like, the 2nd grade and my mom rolled my hair so I could be medusa for halloween. My step sister brushed one of the curls out- forcing me to brush them all out and change my costume to Rosanna Rosanna Dana from SNL. IT.WAS.AWFUL! I thought my hair would never be the same :(

I always want big hair too. Sadly, I don't think I'll ever be able to accomplish it with my super fine, super thin hair. Boo!

I really really really want to use hair rollers but my hair is too thick. I always end up getting them stuck, which is never a beautiful thing. Great blog!

I used rollers once and loved it since I have sick nasty super straight here (curls are a good change once in a while, ya know..) and you totally make me crave for s'more curling time!

You can have my frizzy, curly, crazy hair any time you want!

Oh I'm like Ailinh with stick straight hair. But I'm too lazy to use curlers and the gallons of product I have to put on my hair for it to hold any style whatsoever.

I have thick, wavy, frizzy hair. It's always big. haha

I don't think I could put hair rollers in my hair alone. Heck, I have a hard time curling it all. Hairdressers almost comment how my hair doesn't look like a lot but then once they start doing it it's never ending. Yeah, it's that bad.

I have a facebook friend who has the most beautiful fake hair I have ever seen. I have become obsessed looking at her pictures because I am in love with her. I need extensions!

I recently learned how to curl/add volume with a flat iron- BEST thing ever! Look it up on youtube- it only took a little bit and my normally stick straight hair actually held a curl for the first time in it's life :)
