Little Pumpkins

A couple weeks ago, my dad got us a pumpkin (thanks, Dad!). And finally, after a week of sickness, yucky weather, and other busyness, we finally found an afternoon that was perfect for pumpkin craving.

This is what the face was supposed to look like. I messed up on the eyes.

Sky was carving the pumpkin at this point. I had a baby to photograph!

I'm ready for Halloween! It's definitely not my favorite holiday (Thanksgiving and Christmas!), but I will have an excuse to dress Millie up (I'm thinking Illini cheerleader), eat any candy she might get (that's what happens when you're one- sorry Millie), and snap lots of pictures along the way.

Cute! Looks like a lot of fun. Oh, and I love her little shoes - I always spend way too much time drooling over the little baby shoes and then deciding we don't need them, ha ha! BUT, if I could, the kids would way, way too many :)

Very wonderful pictures :)
And I'm with you on Halloween not being a holiday I care for. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the best!

The picture looking down behind Sky carving is my favorite... the colors are awesome. Not that Millie isn't darling with her little pumpkin!

I love that Millie is helping! And I completely understand the need to try out the man scruff. Mike tried to grow a beard when he had mono, and it was just...bad. haha

I love the eating candy part (it happens even after they are 1, my son is 4 now) and the dressing up. Plus it means that Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming soon!
