Our Day

Christmas Eve:
Photobucket
Millie had a tummy ache on Christmas Eve and couldn't sleep (and no, she hasn't learn the art of faking it yet), so we let her get up for a little bit and open her first present.

It was a story about a duck and a goose, and it begged to be read before she went back to bed.

Christmas morning:

Elated that we encouraged her to rip up paper.

A pint-sized chair for a half pint.

I wrap things cleverly...like in towels. Sky thought he was getting a blanket.

Millie spent most of Christmas morning wearing the glasses from her Mr. Potato Head. "Hasses!" she exclaimed. I'm not sure if her fascination with them was because I wear glasses every night, but she adored them.

Christmas afternoon:

We don't really go anywhere that requires dressing up. But she had to get fancy for Christmas!

Our Christmas cards. My dad would point to each one he didn't recognize and ask, "Blogger?" Many of you are on that wall!

It was very merry.

I love watching Christmas through the eyes of a child. We had the same experience with my niece and nephew this year. I'm glad you had a merry Christmas!
