Praying for Daphne

Last week, Rachelle from Mr. Superman and Mrs. S. shared the story of one of her friends and a new baby named Daphne. Daphne was born with Trisomy 18. You probably remember me sharing a video about Trisomy 18 when I told you the story of my friend Rebecca, who had a son born with Trisomy 13. Both are conditions without much hope.

But sometimes, God does powerful things. And in Daphne's case, he is giving her a fighting spirit and her mother a sense of peace. I don't know this family at all, but Rachelle wrote an update today, and she asked that I help spread the word. This baby needs prayers, and God is always big enough to do what we ask.

So head over to Rachelle's post to grab the button above, spread the word, and most of all, pray for this sweet little girl.
Thank you.

THANK YOU ERIKA!!! I am just in tears at the willingness of friends to share this story. These two ladies are so close to my heart and I KNOW God has His hand on both of them. Thank you so much!

I may not be the most religious person but I certainly believe in miracles and little Daphne is quite the miracle. She will definitely be in my thoughts and I'll put in a prayer request to Chris for her.

This story made me tear up. This sweet baby girl has blessed so many people and will continue to do so. She and her family are certainly in my prayers!

We were told early on in my pregnancy with Little Man that he had Trisomy 18. It was a very scary time, not knowing what the future would look like, but after a few months (and LOTS of prayer) the doctors came back and said they saw no signs of it. I know it was a miracle. Prayer works wonders and I will pass Daphne's story along for more prayers!!
